We are Registered Advocates Through The State Of Washington, New York, New Jersey To Assist Victims With Registration Into The ACP Program

The Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) is designed to help individuals who fear for their safety maintain a confidential address. The program is an important part of an overall safety plan, preventing perpetrators from locating participants through public records such as driver’s licenses, voter registries, and marriage records.

ACP provides eligible individuals and their household members with a substitute address and a confidential mail forwarding service, including acting as a legal agent for service of process. Additionally, certain normally public records such as voter registration and marriage records are protected. While state and government agencies are required to accept the ACP address, private businesses and the federal government may choose whether to do so.

At The Anchor Project NJ, our Certified Credentialed Advocates help survivors review eligibility requirements, explain how the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) works, integrate it into a safety plan, and assist with completing and forwarding the application. Our team ensures that victims of human trafficking and domestic violence receive the guidance and support they need throughout the enrollment process.
